I love being friends with people from all over the world. Maps are a reminder of many places, cultures, and people that exist on earth. Maps are a reminder of distant locations and lands. Maps are a reminder that this places is bigger than I know yet in other ways smaller than I think. This painting is a reminder to me of how connected our world has become and how easy travel, movement, and connection are. I am thankful I have been able to travel and hope to be able to travel more in the future.
